An immigrant from Haiti to Nashville during his youth, Elde Guerrier is well known to the Nashville business community through his successful car dealership. Guerrier Automotive supplies high-end vehicles and custom automotive work to some of the city’s biggest names in entertainment, business, and professional sports. Mr. Guerrier is a naturalized U.S. citizen with roots in Haiti, where he immigrated from at the age of 13. 

After graduating high school early, he began a business career in Nashville that started in the automotive industry and now finds him as one of the region’s premier young real estate developers.

Mr. Guerrier oversees Guerrier Development’s strategic direction with a focus on bringing high-quality and luxury residential and mixed-use developments to emerging areas of Nashville outside the urban core. He directs the negotiations and investments for the firm’s acquisitions with an emphasis on deal structure that allows Guerrier Development to bring in a variety of financial partners depending on the size and location of each project. Mr. Guerrier is adept at forming creative partnerships around projects and identifying sources of capital to make deals work for all parties involved. Elde directs the negotiations and investments for the firm’s acquisitions with an emphasis on deal structures that allow Guerrier Development to not only build homes but communities.

A graduate of historic Tennessee State University and a native of Northern California, she entered the real estate market in Nashville shortly after the 2008 crash and immediately turned her attention to the entrepreneurial side of the field.  

Mrs. Guerrier is one of the few Black women in the state licensed as a general contractor for commercial, residential and industrial development. She prides herself on being on job sites and overseeing every aspect of each development the company undertakes.

Mrs. Guerrier guides Guerrier Development’s vision for communities as well as driving its social mission to invest in emerging neighborhoods. She is an active member of Nashville’s philanthropic community, focusing on the needs of children.

She is also the driving force behind the company’s entry into the hospitality vertical and has forged global partnerships at the executive level across the world.
